1) DESCRIPTION

Waack It Out is a cultural event created for the knowledge, diffusion and development of Waacking as dance and club-culture.; Waack It Out is organized by ASSOCIAZIONE SPORTIVA DILETTANTISTICA CESENA DANZE wich is a no-profit organization. location: “Cassero” LGBTQIA+ Center – Via Don Minzoni 18 – Bologna – ITALY
Free entrance for competitors – Audience 12€ ticket on place.

2) FREESTYLE BATTLES (Saturday 29th April)

Categories:

1vs1 Whacking UNDER 18:
1 by 1 freestyle selection on POP MUSIC with a score than direct elimination battles with 1 entry each, 2 entries in the final.
This category is reserved for underage dancers only.

1vs1 Waacking OPEN:
1 by 1 freestyle selection on POP MUSIC with a score than direct elimination battles with 1 entry each, 2 entries in the final.
Category with no age limits and money prize for the winner.

2vs2 “Waack me up then punk me out” (a format by Archie Burnett)
1 by 1 freestyle selection on POP MUSIC.
The best dancers will be selected individually by a score, than randomly paired to form couples.
At each round new couples will be made up by the dancers who obtained the higest score in the previous show battles.
The final round will decide the winning couple by direct elimination and the best dancer on this category will also be rewarded.

For each freestlyle category:
The DRESS CODE will be “POP ICON”: participants are invited to have an outfit inspired by pop characters in their video clips, concerts or photos from the 80s/90s to today.
The participants in the battle will perform exclusively on music selected by the official DJs of the event (DISCO, FUNK, POP, R&B, HOUSE from the 70s/80s/90s to today).

In case of majority of “tied” votes in a battle, there will be a second round; at the end, the judges MUST vote for one side (no more “tied” allowed).

The organization reserves the right to merge or divide the categories.

3) REGISTRATION AND FEES
To sign in just fill out the ONLINE FORM available on www.waackitout.it
After filling the online form, you will receive an email containing a PDF registration form, which must be printed, filled and signed; give the original copy of this document to the registration desk when you arrive at the event’. We will send you your full fee and payment information by email after you complete the online registration.
Deadline for registering: SEPTEMBER 12 (only after the dealine, the organization will say if it will be possible to register on place for battles and workshops).

4) ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ACCEPTANCE
Check our website www.waackitout.info to see the schedule, which can be changed due to the partecipants’ number. • The contest organisation reserves the right to cancel part or the entire contest due to circumstances beyond its control; if that should happen, all the entrances fee will be refunded. • In accordance with the law, STUDIO 524 SSD SRL can use your personal data for promotional, statistical and informative purpose. • By participating, the contenders declare to be in good health. The Organization denies any responsibility for any damages occurred during the show , suffered or caused by attendees. • By participating to the Contest, the contenders agree to the Waack It Out Rules. The Organization can throw out any contender failing the rules, if this case there will be no fee refund.

Waack It Out è una manifestazione culturale nata per la conoscenza, diffusione e sviluppo del Waacking come danza e club-culture; Waack It Out è organizzato da STUDIO 524 SOCIETA’ SPORTIVA DILETTANTISTICA SRL senza scopo di lucro. presso: “Cassero” LGBTQIA+ Center – Via Don Minzoni 18 – Bologna – ITALY e presso: “Pala Danze” – Via Bartolomeo Provaglia 9 – Bologna – ITALY
Ingresso pubblico alla competizione del sabato: biglietto da 10€ sul posto.

2) FREESTYLE BATTLES (SABATO 29 APRILE)

Categorie:

Whacking 1sv1 UNDER 18:
Selezione 1 ballerino alla volta su musica pop con punteggio poi battles ad eliminazione diretta con 1 entrata a testa, 2 entrate nella finale.
Questa categoria è riservata a ballerini minorenni.

Waacking OPEN 1vs1
Selezione 1 ballerino alla volta su musica pop con punteggio poi battles ad eliminazione diretta con 1 entrata a testa, 2 entrate nella finale.
Categoria senza limiti di età e con premio in denaro per il vincitore.

2vs2 ALL STLYES
Categoria dove le coppie possono interpretare la musica con qualsiasi stile vogliano. Non ci sono limiti di età per partecipare.
La giuria selezionerà le migliori coppie votando le esibizioni nella prima fase, dopodichè le migliori 8 coppie si sfideranno ad eliminazione diretta.
1 entrata a testa per ogni ballerino, 2 nella finale. Sono ammesse sequenze coreografiche purchè nel limite del tempo previsto per ogni entrata.

Per tutte le categorie freestyle:
Il DRESS CODE sarà “POP ICON”: i partecipanti sono invitati ad avere un outfit ispirato ai personaggi pop nei loro videoclip, concerti o foto dagli anni ‘80/’90 ad oggi.
I partecipanti alle battle si esibiranno esclusivamente su musica selezionata dai DJ ufficiali della manifestazione (DISCO, FUNK, POP, R&B, HOUSE dagli anni ‘70/‘80/’90 ad oggi).

Durante le battle, nel caso ci fosse una maggioranza di voti “pari” all’interno della giuria, si proseguirà con una seconda sfida tra i ballerini; in seguito alla seconda performance i giudici NON potranno più assegnare una votazione “pari”.

l’organizzazione si riserva il diritto di accorpare o dividere le categorie in caso di mancato raggiungimento o di superamento del quorum iscritti.

3) ISCRIZIONI E TARIFFE
• Per iscriversi compilare il MODULO ONLINE su www.waackitout.it In seguito alla registrazione online riceverete un’email con allegato un modulo da stampare, compilare e firmare; tale modulo dovrà essere consegnato in copia originale alla accettazione il giorno dell’evento.
• Le iscrizioni online dovranno essere confermate tramite invio di email con allegati: Copia dell’avvenuto pagamento e Modulo iscrizione compilato e firmato. Ti invieremo la tua quota totale e le informazioni di pagamento via e-mail dopo che avrai compilato la registrazione online.
• Il termine delle iscrizioni: 12 SETTEMBRE; solo in seguito la direzione comunicherà la possibilità di iscrizione sul posto.

4) ACCETTAZIONE E PROGRAMMA
Gli orari di apertura e svolgimento della manifestazione saranno pubblicati ed aggiornati sul sito www.waackitout.it poiché dipenderanno dal numero di iscrizioni. IN ULTIMO L’organizzazione si riserva di annullare una sezione del concorso o l’intera manifestazione qualora intervengano motivi di comprovata forza maggiore; solo in tal caso le quote di iscrizione verranno restituite. L’Organizzazione si riserva la facoltà di riprendere, registrare, trasmettere per televisione, in parte o integralmente le prestazioni rese in tale partecipazione dagli iscritti al Waack It Out 2026, unitamente all’immagine e al nome, con mezzi televisivi, radiofonici e multimediali. STUDIO524 SSD SRL è autorizzata ad acquisire ed utilizzare (salvo dissenso scritto) i dati personali rilasciati da ogni partecipante a fini promozionali, informativi e statistici ai sensi delle leggi vigenti. I partecipanti al Concorso, o chi ne fa le veci, dichiarano di essere in sana e robusta costituzione come da certificati medici in proprio possesso. L’Organizzatore declina altresì ogni responsabilità nei riguardi di danni a cose o persone che dovessero verificarsi nel corso delle varie fasi della manifestazione, siano essi subiti o provocati dagli stessi partecipanti al concorso o dai loro accompagnatori. La partecipazione alla manifestazione implica l’accettazione senza riserve del presente Regolamento e di eventuali norme integrative che l’organizzazione si riserva di introdurre e che assumono valore equivalente al Regolamento stesso. In caso di inadempienza alle prescrizioni del presente Regolamento l’Organizzazione può anche adottare il provvedimento di espulsione dal Concorso. In tale eventualità il partecipante non ha diritto ad alcun rimborso o indennizzo.
